1. Who we are

These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of scallle.com (the “Site”), operated by Scallle.com Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (“Scallle”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By using the Site you accept these Terms.

2. What this site is

Scallle documents how businesses actually run, and provides an application for keeping that documentation current. The Site describes what we do and how we work. It is a description, not an offer, and nothing on it forms a contract. Any engagement, and any use of the Scallle application, is governed by terms agreed separately.

3. No professional advice

Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and it must not be relied on as such. Descriptions of our method are general; what we would actually recommend depends on the business in front of us.

4. Contacting us

Sending us a message through the contact form does not create any relationship between us, and we are under no obligation to respond, to keep the contents of an unsolicited message confidential, or to refrain from pursuing a similar idea. Offers described on the Site, including any free work, are subject to our agreement in each case.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, its content, and the Scallle name and marks belong to us or our licensors. You may read, quote, and link to the Site with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, present it as your own, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) misuse the Site or interfere with its operation, (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, (c) use it to send unlawful, misleading, or abusive material, or (d) scrape it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

7. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites, including our podcast and the platforms it is published on. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

8. Warranties and liability

The Site is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site.

9. Changes

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. The version published here is the version that applies, and the effective date above tells you when it last changed.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
