1. Who we are
These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of scallle.com (the “Site”), operated by Scallle Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (“Scallle”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By using the Site you accept these Terms.
2. What this site is
Scallle is a holding company. The Site describes who we are and how we work. It is not an offer, an invitation to invest, or financial promotion of any kind, and nothing on it forms a contract. Each company in the Scallle portfolio operates independently and publishes its own terms for its own products and services.
3. No investment or professional advice
Nothing on the Site is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and it must not be relied on as such. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not offer securities or investment opportunities through this Site.
4. Contacting us
Sending us a message through the contact form does not create any relationship between us, and we are under no obligation to respond, to keep the contents of an unsolicited message confidential, or to refrain from pursuing a similar idea. We are not currently accepting new portfolio companies.
5. Intellectual property
The Site, its content, and the Scallle name and marks belong to us or our licensors. You may read, quote, and link to the Site with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, present it as your own, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) misuse the Site or interfere with its operation, (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, (c) use it to send unlawful, misleading, or abusive material, or (d) scrape it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
7. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites, including portfolio companies and our podcast. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
8. Warranties and liability
The Site is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site.
9. Changes
We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. The version published here is the version that applies, and the effective date above tells you when it last changed.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
