Privacy notice

This notice explains how Scallle.com Ltd(“Scallle”, “we”) processes personal data about visitors to scallle.com and people who contact us. We act as a data controller for the purposes described below. The Scallle application publishes its own privacy notice covering client data held there.

1. Who we are

Scallle.com Ltdis a company registered in England & Wales. You can reach us at legal@scallle.com.

2. What we collect

Contact details you provide (your name and email address) when you fill in our contact form or email us.
The content of your message, and anything else you choose to include in it.
Your email address, separately, if you subscribe to our newsletter or ask for the Business Systemisation Roadmap. We hold it as a subscription rather than as correspondence, and it stays on the list until you take it off.
Usage and device data, including IP address, browser type, and page events, collected through essential cookies and server logs. We also measure page views and completed bookings using Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites; no name, email or booking reference is sent to it. Your IP address is also recorded with a contact-form submission for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

To read and respond to enquiries.
To send you the newsletter or the roadmap you asked for, if you asked for them (consent). Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and each list can be left on its own without leaving the other.
To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse (legitimate interests).
To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Lawful bases

We rely on one or more of the following lawful bases under UK GDPR: legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

Marketing email rests on consent alone. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, or by emailing legal@scallle.com. Withdrawing it stops the newsletter and nothing else — it does not affect replies to an enquiry you have made.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

Vetted sub-processors who help us run the site (hosting, email delivery, and analytics).
Professional advisers where required.
Authorities if we are legally required to disclose.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with the matter you raised and to keep a record of the correspondence, and then delete or anonymise them. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

A newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe, and a record that you unsubscribed is kept after that — it is what stops the address being added again by mistake.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing legal@scallle.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk).

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working. Our analytics uses none — it counts page views without storing anything on your device and without building a profile of you across sites. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies, and we do not store anything about you that is not needed to serve the page.
