App terms of use

Effective 21 October 2026

1. Who we are and who these terms are for

These terms govern your use of the Scallle app at app.scallle.com (the “App”), provided by Scallle.com Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (“Scallle”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). They apply to everyone who signs in to the App — business owners, admins, employees, and anyone else given access. You accept them by ticking “I agree” in the App, and the App records which version you agreed to and when.

If the business that gave you access has signed an agreement with us, that agreement governs the relationship between that business and Scallle, and where it differs from these terms, it wins.

2. Your access

Your access comes from a business that uses the App (“your business”). Your business decides what you can see and do, and can change or remove your access at any time.

Your access is personal. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, use two-step sign-in when the App asks for it, don’t let anyone else use the App as you, and tell us straight away at support@scallle.com if you think someone has.

3. Your business’s content

The information your business puts into the App — its maps, procedures, tasks, notes, comments and pictures (“Content”) — belongs to your business. We hold and use it to run the App for your business, on its instructions.

Only add Content you are allowed to add. Don’t add anything unlawful, and don’t add information about other people unless your business is entitled to hold it.

4. The App belongs to us

The App — its software, design, screens, text, graphics, structure and methods, and the Scallle name and marks — belongs to Scallle or our licensors. While you have access, you may use the App for your business’s own work. Nothing else is given or transferred to you.

5. No copying

You must not, and must not help or let anyone else:

  • copy, reproduce or imitate the App or any part of it — its features, screens, design, text, graphics, structure or code — by hand or with any tool, AI included;
  • use the App, or what you learn from it, to build, design or help build a product or service that competes with it;
  • decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the App, or try to work out its source code;
  • use a bot, scraper, crawler, AI agent or any other automated tool to copy or extract the App’s screens, features, design or code, or to write up how it works;
  • share screenshots or recordings of the App outside your business, except as your business’s own work needs.

You may use AI tools on your business’s own Content — for example through the App’s “Copy for your AI” — as long as you don’t use them for any of the above. Nothing in this section stops you doing something the law allows you to do whatever a contract says.

6. Using the App properly

You must not:

  • try to reach any part of the App, or any other business’s information, that you haven’t been given access to;
  • test, probe or attack the App’s security without our written permission;
  • interfere with the App, or put an unreasonable load on it;
  • use the App for anything unlawful, misleading or abusive;
  • remove or hide any notice of our ownership.

7. Confidentiality

The parts of the App that aren’t public — its screens, features, plans and how it works — are confidential. Keep them to yourself and your business, and use them only for your business’s work in the App. This doesn’t cover anything already public, or anything the law requires you to disclose.

8. Ideas and feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything for them.

9. The App is in beta

The App is still being built. Features may change, move or be removed, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We work to keep it running and your business’s Content safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of faults.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Our responsibilities to your business are set out in its agreement with us, if it has one. To you personally, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the App.

11. Suspending or ending your access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your business asks us to or its use of the App ends, or if we need to protect the App, the people who use it, or anyone’s information.

When your access ends, so does your right to use the App. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 still apply afterwards.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If we do, the App will ask you to agree to the new version the next time you open it, and the date at the top of this page will change.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
